FAQ + booking

Questions?
We probably had the same ones.

Do I need to be a professional henna artist?

Nope. Beginner, intermediate, advanced, professional—you’re welcome. If you love henna and want to learn, share and be part of this community, you’re our kind of person.

I’m coming alone. Is that weird?

Not even slightly. We expect plenty of people to arrive alone. Give us approximately three hours. 😂

Where are we staying?

At a beautiful 4-star resort in Ubud, Bali. We’re keeping the exact venue under wraps for just a little longer. Confirmed participants will receive full details.

What’s included in my room?

Your place includes four nights’ twin-share accommodation. Coming with a friend? Tell us who you’d like to share with. Coming alone? We’ll match you with another participant.

Can I have my own room?

Yes, subject to availability. The single-room supplement is USD 275.

What about food?

Breakfast, lunch and dinner during HBB are included, along with tea and coffee breaks. Halal and vegetarian options will be available. Vegan requirements can be submitted during registration.

Airport transfers?

Included for participants. We’ll collect your flight details closer to the retreat and coordinate arrival and departure transfers.

Do I have to do yoga?

Absolutely not. 😂 Morning yoga, meditation and breathwork are there if you’d like them. If your personal wellness practice is sleeping until breakfast, we respect that too.

What should I bring?

Yourself. Comfortable clothes. Your favourite henna tools if you’d like. A phone with LOTS of storage. And mosquito repellant. Did we mention mosquito repellant?

Can I skip a workshop?

Of course. This isn’t school. Come to everything, take a break, sit by the pool, have a conversation—it’s your experience.

What’s not included?

Flights, Indonesian visa costs, travel insurance, alcohol, spa treatments, excursions, private-room upgrades, additional nights and personal purchases.

What if I have to cancel?

Because HBB is small and we make non-refundable commitments based on confirmed bookings, participant payments are non-refundable. You may transfer your place with written notice at least 14 days before HBB. We strongly recommend travel insurance with trip-cancellation cover.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes! Regular admission tickets can be paid in three instalments: US$625, US$375 and US$250, according to the payment schedule above.

Can I pay my early-bird ticket in instalments?

Early-bird tickets must be paid in full to qualify for the discounted US$950 price.

When does early bird close?

20 November 2026, or when the first ten early-bird tickets sell out, whichever happens first.

Can I pay in my own currency?

Depending on your payment provider and country, you may be able to pay using your local currency. Conversion rates and fees may apply.

Do I need a visa?

That depends on your nationality and travel purpose. Please check the Indonesian immigration portal for the visa appropriate to your passport and planned activities.

Will HBB provide an invitation letter?

Yes, where appropriate, after your registration has been confirmed.

Are flights included?

No. International flights are not included.

Is accommodation included?

Yes! Four nights of twin-sharing accommodation are included.

Can I stay longer in Bali?

Absolutely! Any additional accommodation and personal travel arrangements are your responsibility.

What happens if I can't attend?

Please refer to the full booking agreement for cancellation, transfer and refund conditions.

Okay. Let’s do this. 🤎
